Jerry Yudelson is widely recognized
as one of the leading green
building experts in the United
States. Jerry has more than
25 years of experience in green
building design, site planning,
renewable energy systems, environmental
remediation and water conservation
and is an expert in the LEED
green building rating system.
On behalf of the U.S. Green
Building Council (USGBC), he
chaired the Steering Committee
for Greenbuild 2004 through
2008, and he has trained nearly
3,500 people in the LEED rating
system. As a sustainability
expert, Jerry frequently publishes
in national trade and professional
publications on green building
design, construction, marketing
and other sustainability issues.
In addition, Jerry has authored
eight, leading-edge, green building
books and numerous research
papers. In 2007, the International
Council of Shopping Centers
named Jerry as its first Research
Scholar for Real Estate Sustainability.
